Been to France several times but never Paris.
Was it as good as I expected? No, it was way beyond!
I had high expectations but I was shocked with everything this city has to offer.
I had the chance to see the Eiffel tower, Arc de Triumph, Louvre, Notre dame Cathedral as well as many more know spots!
And of course I took the time to visit Disneyland! All this in just 2 and a half day!
The downside with this trip was that I had very high expectations to the french cuisine, but we did not find any great authentic places where we could have some really nice food.
Our first meal was near the hotel and that was not any good. However, we did pick the place based on location and not anything else. As we where starving from the travel and just had to get some food.
(And NO, the hotel did not have a dinner service.)
As we walked around the city we found places we thought where great restaurants but the food was not that impressive. My best culinary excitement was the ice cream on top of the La galerie Lafayette. (Mall)
If I had to choose only one of all the places I visited in Paris, its without a doubt the Eiffel Tower. ( By distance or on top of it) You should put it on your bucket list straight away.
We tried to time our visit to the Eiffel tower with the golden hour (Sunset). It was Magical!
After visiting Paris, I can finally say I think I am done with France. (In a good way). What I mean is, I have visited the places I wanted to explore and experience.
Nice, Cannes, Saint-Trophez, Marseille, brest, le havre and now Paris!
Would I recommend Paris or France? Definitely! If I had to choose again where to go in France I would go back to Saint-Trophez and Paris.
And I probably would some time in the future! However next out is South East Asia!
Next trip is schedule to October 11, Philippines!
