By  |

It is known as one of the most popular tourist spots in Norway.
If you are looking for a typical Norwegian fjord, this is by far the best fjord we have to offer.

Geiranger fjord, Beautiful Nature Norway. It is a 15-kilometre (9.3 mi) long branch off of the Sunnylvsfjorden, which is a branch off of the Storfjorden (Great Fjord).

Prices?

There is a lot of souvenir shops but be informed that the prices are very high.
Prices are also high for drinks, food etc in the area so it will be advised to buy it somewhere else if you are on a budget.

How to get there?

Most of the tourist visit Geiranger, by Cruise ship.
The most popular here in Norway is Hurtigruten ( www.hurtigruten.no )
They offer really nice trips along the Norwegian coast (Including Geiranger).
Prices are kinda high so if you are on a budget use a rental car.
The closest Air port is Ålesund (Vigra).
